Opened in 1979, the is one of the oldest Irish pubs in Germany – and one of the cosiest in Berlin. It made its name because of its beers and the impressing Whisk(e)y-selection. The well established pub is now famous far over Steglitz' borders. Especially the numerous live music events during the week, football coverage and the almost legendary Pub Quiz on Mondays have produced a huge fan community. Of course, admission is always free!

7 days a week in the Markelstr…, it’s not only about Stout and traditional Irish folk,   it’s also about: Meeting interesting people, enjoying tasty drinks & delicious food and listen to good music. There are available: 9 sorts of tapped beer, tapped cider and an impressive selection of more than 80 whisk(e)ys, also a great choice of non-alcoholic drinks, sweets, snacks and, of course, nice bar food.
The variety of music couldn’t be greater either.
Irish folk, Blues or Bluegrass, Cajun, Country or Chansons, Tango or a Tucholsky night, there is always something to enjoy for everyone and if that’s not enough..., during the summer season our large
beer garden awaits you with over 80 seats.

Since 2007 the   is also a Sports bar and you can enjoy all matches live of the German Bundesliga, Champions League, World- and European Cups on big screens.  If you like to do sports by yourself, do it in a typical Irish style and play darts in the tiny, cosy steal dart corner.

Don’t miss the famous Pub Quiz!!! Since 2004 every Monday night people gather in groups and fight with passion for fame, glory and a bottle of whiskey. Because of some tricky questions, the 1,-€ starting fee/person put into a jackpot will sometimes raise up to 300,-€ before the winning team can share the price. Highly enjoyable!

But if you like to celebrate ‘THE REAL IRISH THING’, then visit us at Halloween, New Years Eve and of course at “Paddy’s Day”! These parties are already legend!
